he confirmed what she suspected. Fyri had once lay claim to these lands. it made sense then that Song wanted to remain close by; she would do the same to the pines and ship if she had a choice. she hesitated briefly before continuing on. "Fyri chose a good location" she would say politely and respectfully. her icy gaze tore from the man's face to look around them again. the gorge was not known to her, but perhaps she'd go there next. "it would make an excellent start to another pack." her insides squirmed briefly with letting Acere know her ambitions. soon, she thought, he would have to know. but for now, she would focus on the man before her. "if you do not mind me asking, where will you go? you and your packmate?" there was a concern in her tone. ambition aside, she wanted to know if Song and his ally had a plan. she could not turn a blind eye to them simply because they were loners. she had been a loner once herself, and people like Fracture and Acere had taken her in. welcomed her. |
