He heard the frantic sounds of her paws on the earth as she changed from subtle to sprinting. He sprung around to face her head on, so she colluded with his shoulder. He felt the vibration of it through his body, but he held strong against the smaller wolf’s weight. He then moved to nip at the back of her neck if he was able to, and attempted to swipe at her front paws with his front right leg, in an attempt to push her off balance. He knew if both attacks made it, he could lift Zee higher with his teeth and her scruff, and have her balance entirely under his control.
