After his patrols and a check up on both Banshee and Belle the male waltzed down to the watering hole. He had just come back from a venture out into the unclaimed lands in attempt to find Circe. But, he had no luck. It was hard since he didn't want to spend much time away from Ashen but he was also concerned about his broodmother's safety. Yet, as he approached one of the smaller lakes that formed the clump of large pools a peculiar scent filled his nose. Pale eyes narrowed as steps slowed. Hannibal scanned the region before he heard a deep feline growl coming from his right. Before he could react a screech could be heard and a very angry female Fishing Cat launched at him. Cat claws raked against strong and long front legs and the male instantly let forth a rippling growl. Hannibal narrowed his eyes, raised his hackles, flattened ears, and snarled in an instant. - In reaction to the Cats attack the male quickly snapped his fangs in her direction but she was too quick and darted to the side. The Cat's tail was high and it's spine as well. It looked vicious but was quite a few inches shorter then Hannibal. If she wanted a fight, she'd get one.
