Just as Hannibal reeled in to react to the Cat's oncoming assault Segar came forth from the underbrush and took claws right to the muzzle. The albino's eyes were wide but he lowered himself into a defensive stance. Elbows and knees were bent, muzzle pointed down to protect his throat, tail aligned with his spine, weight evenly distributed, ears flattened, lips curled upward to expose gnarly fangs, and hackles raised to expose himself as a larger threat to the smaller feline. He witnessed the earth toned male tense as blood dripped onto the dirt below. A certain anger seemed to emit from his lover, one that Hannibal had never seen before.

After a moment of collecting himself Hannibal was ready to aid Segar in either driving the Cat away or eliminating it completely. The pelt could make a grand hide for Dutch and the pups. Thought vanished as he moved back into action. Segar took another vicious swipe to the face and that was when Hannibal charged forth past the handsome male. A rippling growl left his maw as the albino aimed to snap his greedy fangs at the Cat's neck. Large paws stomped upon the ground as he towered over the feline. He managed to grasp some of it's scruff between his teeth but with such a purchase came a flurry of sharp Cat claws. The Fisher violently swatted and swiped at his face and neck, coming dangerously close to eyes. Thus, Hannibal let go and took a quick step to the side. His eyes never left the feisty Cat as he lowered his head and raised his shoulders. Teeth were clenched and exposed, blood painting his normally rather pretty jigsaw face. Hopefully with such a display and with the Cat now bleeding from the neck it would cower away and they could drive it out of the territory with no desire to come back again.
