Lucretia nodded and rolled her shoulders. She hadn't thought about the repercussions of picking this chamber come the colder weather, but during the summertime it gave her blessed relief. "no, I suppose not. where do you suggest I sleep?" she countered. His initial intrusion, while surprising, had turned out to be a welcome one. Luce was too proud to admit that she would enjoy sleeping by his side, so she left the opportunity open for him to speak his piece.

"will you help me restore some of my stocks before winter arrives? I could use some more of the common herbs before the chill withers them - marigold, boneset, and the like..." They could figure out their sleeping arrangements once her duty was done. Work always came first.
