It's a... lot of dead animals!
Though the pair were tied up with the ducks, many of the small critters of the lake began floating to the surface. It was slow- a frog here, a fish there- but the longer the two sat, the more animals collected at the surface. It's not long before birds of prey start swooping into the water to catch the easy prey.
