Mismatched ears fell to her head as she aimed to lean forward and nuzzle her beloved niece. Her brother had many more children on the way, and though she knew he didn’t forget her, it was easy with everything happening for Ban to feel that way. The Empress herself was guilty as well, she wished she had more time to spend with the girl.

And not because of your skills to come.” Deathbelle told her niece truthfully. ”I know you’ll be an excellent healer and a skilled fighter.” Her blood wouldn’t have it any other way. Banshee would certainly be a talented young woman, she had the drive, she just needed the confidence and purpose. ”Would you like a test to prove your skill? Not to me, necessarily, but to yourself?” Belle asked softly, hoping she might boost her niece’s confidence and maybe gauge how close she was to leaving apprenticeship.
