He made an exaggerated gagging noise. He disregarded Ash's other offer as being just a joke, because surely he couldn't be seriously offering a pile of mice. He straightened his shoulders instead with the air of one settling in for some serious work, then flashed Valk a charming smile. "I'll do you better. The elk and everything, and additionally a chest oh say... the height and length of a fox... full of treasure." He grinned, then elaborated. "Gold coins, faceted gemstones, pearls. Filled to the brim of the chest, no less than that." He ran a quick inventory in his head of the human treasures in his den in the barrow, and gave a nod to himself. Yeah, plenty to choose from.
