Noir made his way in under Odysseus's watchful gaze. He’d learned a lot from his mentor, and had come to respect him for the most part. The boy still hated his punishment, and hadn’t made any effort to apologize or repent for his actions against Poem. He hadn’t caused any other trouble either. Besides hassling a couple loners at the border. Soon enough he’d make his intentions known, for now the boy kept his head down and did as he was told. Noir did his best to avoid any puppies he might find underfoot, finding a place to sit by himself. He’d even resist the urge to sneer at Poem, and kept his features blank as he sat up proudly. He had little care for the passing of wolves he didn’t know. And while everyone worried about Motif he internally celebrated her disappearance. Served Poem right losing her sister and her aunt.
