The white gloved godling made her way proudly from the den, or as proud as a tiny young pup could be. She held her head high, picked up her cat claws paws, and waved her dual toned tail to the sky. She pranced out onto the patio her bright purple eyes taking in the world around her. She’d only been out of the den with her mother thus far. This was her first solo trip. Of course there was likely an adult or companion with eyes on her the whole time. Her siblings and her were prince and princesses, their safety was paramount. Venom held no fear.
She flicked her forked tongue more out of amusing habit than anything important. Unlike a snake she couldn’t taste the air. Pretty paws carried the girl forward through the chilly day. She knew to avoid the stream at the bottom of the ravine, and instead walked along the pathways that now littered Ashen lands. There were a few dens up this way. She wondered who lived here.
