As Hannibal reeled back for a moment with blood dripping from finely sliced cuts in his muzzle Segar stepped in. The large male watched as his companion dove in not one but three times to battle the feline. There were quite a few moments in which Hannibal readied himself to launch into the fray but Segar seemed to have everything under control. A swelling pride for his lover filled his chest as he observed the earthy male take quite a few scratches to the face in addition to hefty bites. Hopefully the Cat didn't have anything infectious on those claws for the opposing male was covered in the bloody gashes.

As Segar returned with the dead Cat Hannibal looked down at the corpse. A hefty smile slipped across his blood covered lips as his gaze flicked back up to Segar. As the moments went on the scout looked worse for wear. "Segar.. you did not have to do that.." That much was clear, but Hannibal was still extremely grateful to have such a mighty beast at his side. The albino took a step forward with a raised head and closed the distance between them. The male aimed to lap at some of the wounds upon Segars muzzle in order to cease some of the bleeding. "Come, my love. We must get you to the healers." Hopefully Banshee or Luce were free to patch them up. - With that the alpha took a step back and captured the dead Fisher between his ivory fangs and move to slither from the water's edge towards the thick of Ashen's lands.
