Pesto had a lot on her mind. Her days were spent exploring, playing, but also listening to her father's sermons and learning of the history of the Abraxas and Klein bloodlines. It didn't sit right with Pestilence, how could her father be this divine being - and by extension, Pesto and her siblings too - but her mother was a mere mortal? She loved her father, but her mother was the strongest and most amazing woman she'd ever met... it wasn't fair to think of her as lesser, and Pesto couldn't wrap her mind around how the Abraxas lineage could ever be stronger then the Klein bloodline that ran throughout Ashen.

Aunt Pandora was a priestess, mom said. Pestilence thought that might mean she could talk to ghosts, but wasn't really sure. Today she decided to journey to her aunty's den and ask the question that had been looming on her mind. Surely the ghosts would know if she was a God, right?

She crouched low as she got close enough for the smell of Pandora to reach her nose. Would she see the ghosts? Did they guard the den? Would they hurt her? The small pup trembled slightly and a cool breeze washed over her. Blackened ears perked forward to listen as she crept closer, finally towards the den's entrance. "Aunty?" She whispered, half-expecting a spooky voice to shout back.

"Speech"
"Thinking"
"You."
