Desolate followed obediently at uncle Rhyme's heel as he led them to the festival. He was so so excited to go, but once he saw the cluster of huge strange adults he realized how afraid he was too. Mom wasn't here, and that made Desolate very nervous. Rhyme released the pups, and Desolate looked up at him in confusion. They could go? Go do what? With whom? No thank you, Desolate was happy to stay beside his uncle and far away from the strangers who roamed here. His siblings could go get themselves in danger if they wanted to, but Des was happy for the security his family granted. Regardless of if Rhyme wanted some alone time, it wouldn't be easy to convince the boy to leave his side. "Speech"
