Unbeknownst to him, Pyrrhic was making a similar expression to the one his father wore. He wanted to be up there with him. The Abraxas youth had never met his uncle Archon before. All he'd knew about him was what his father had told him. And his father had not told him flattering things.

On his left was Benkos and on his right was his father's macaque, Pascal. The former was calm as ever and sat with his arms propped up on his knees. The latter was as nervous as the former was calm and constantly rung his hands.

His eyes never leaving the figures on the summit, Pyrrhic whispered over his shoulder, "Be still, Pascal."
