Zee let him drag her onto the rug, falling into his warmth and leaning in close against him with a pleased sigh. There was nothing more comforting then relaxing in his protective arms, and Zee wished that the two of them could sleep together without him trying to maul her in his dreams. She was almost so happy that she missed his words, but they brought her attention back to the conversation abruptly. "Damn fucking right."
