Thaddeus swore a lot but this time he meant it. staring as the very large adult wolf approached him, his eyes were wide and an uneasy laugh escaped his slender jaws. at least his big mouth hadn't cashed any cheques he wasn't willing to work for. good thing he couldn't howl out a challenge. this place, Boreas, made big ass wolves. he watched as the man accepted his challenge, dropping into a defensive crouch and circling him. he stood there like an idiot for a bit before twisting his body away to face the guy.
a plethora of swear words entered his mind as he forced his paws to work. maybe he should run. maybe he wasn't ready for this. shit, he wasn't sure all of a sudden. like an idiot further, Thaddeus snarled and jumped at random. he aimed to grasp the side of the man's shoulder with his teeth, trying to get a hold on something - anything - but felt that it was a losing battle already. he prepared for a mouth of shaggy fur that looked suspiciously unwashed and he tried not to gag.
