When the neck was presented, Dominus wasted no time. With his shoulder ripped to shreds from the cat's back paws, he was more than ready to get away from the ongoing assault. He threw his mass up the leopad's body with his jaws snapping down around his target. Thick fangs punctured the cat's neck and pinched together scruff and muscle alike, cutting through the bulk of it like four apparent cleavers.

Blood rushed past the boy's inky lips as he made the killing blow, and already he could feel the feline weaken beneath him. His shoulders and hips stung, but he did his best not to look in agony as he pulled himself away from the leopard's dying body.

"Thank you, you might have just saved my life." She at least certainly saved him from a lot more pain. He winced as he shrugged his shoulders, not realizing doing so would burn as much it did.
