there was no real plan. at least not for him. as much as he surprised the woman, it was clear she had more experience with this sorta shit than he did. she ducked her head, causing him to bounce uselessly off her as she flipped her snout up and catching his chin. a whimper left his lips as his jaw smarted but at least it wasn't the worst pain he ever felt. he had stepped backward just in time for her jaws to snap in the air before him.
the woman tried to put distance between them but he wasn't going to let her. he moved forward again, hoping to repay her for her previous assault. this time Thaddeus went for the side of her throat. if she was gonna chin-dip again, he'd go for a place she couldn't easily defend. his jaws waved wildly in the air before launching at her, hoping to grasp hold of something. it was all he knew how to do; snap his mouth and hope for the best.
