Álarr didn't quite reach his target as the man's jaws seized him just in front of his hips and started pulling him back. He did his best to retain his defenses as he whirled around, fangs flying towards the left side of the man's face. Afi who had seen quite enough of this frizzed up and screeched his feline battle cry as he dove in trying to latch onto the man's right foreleg to prevent the paw slam or at least delay it long enough for the flailing pups position to change. Brynhildr too joined the fray as she dove down, her talons outstretched as she sought to puncture the warriors right eye.
