Balsam had decided he would give these giants nothing. His expression was indifferent as he followed along behind the freakishly giant giant. He wouldn't give them the satisfaction of a fearful expression even though he was indeed afraid. No, he really would give them nothing. He would keep his dignity while he was stuck here; they would not take his warrior's heart from him. The ghastly beast finally stopped and Balsam too slowed to a halt. When the woman approached, Balsam swept a look over her and then, seemingly bored with what he observed, his attention rolled away. In truth he wasn't as indifferent as he let on but he wanted them to think he was unimpressed. He would keep his dignity and he would give them nothing. |
