Twig wanted to be closer to her young cousins, so had moved her den closer to where Shaye and the boys stayed. She felt terrible for them, having lost both parents so soon after entering the world she wanted to be there for them as much as possible. They were her only family here and they deserved to have some connection to their father. She was asleep in her den when the sudden shaking woke her quickly. Panic threatened to take her, but all she could think about was get to the boys. The Memoire girl raced towards Shaye’s den, it wasn’t too far so she beat the alpha there. ”Tempo, Beat, Pitch!” She called out, trying to keep her voice calm. ”We have to go, come here.” She told them while assuring them from the den.
