Run for the hills! VOLCANO

Noir had conflicting feelings as his blue and lavender eyes watched as the volcano began to erupt. He was at Abaven’s highest point, thinking about how he was going to call together the whole pack tomorrow. He was going to rub it in their faces that he was leaving, and they couldn’t stop him. As the sound of the boom hit him and the tremors moved beneath his paws he saw his fantasy crumbled with the loose rocks around him. Noir grit his teeth as he watched, with mixed feelings, the incredible explosion.

He found a thrill in the chaos of it as he stared over the short distance between Abaven and the volcano. Shaye’s call hit his ears and he realized then how much this was going to disrupt his life. There would be no grand exit for him, there was nothing he could do to overshadow the pillars of doom that threatened to consume the whole pack. A deep growl left his throat. Everything was ruined.

He cried out in frustration and started to run. He wasn’t sure where he was going to go but this was it. He’d find his way in the chaos. Noir sent out a howl to Shaye. His voice didn’t hold the maturity of a full adult but with his huge size it challenged Rhyme’s in intensity. He was leaving, and she couldn’t stop him.
