The ground shook, his den shook, something he had never experienced before. Eyes shot open, wide with panic as he got to his feet, hackles raised. A low growl rumbled in his chest as he made his way out of his shallow den, lips curled as if to fend off whatever it was that had shook him awake. Eyes widened further and jaw dropped as the distant mountain spewed red liquid and dark clouds. Ears fell back to his skull, dread filling his gut. He was just heading towards the main den area when he heard Torin’s howl. Groaning, Sandor moved quicker, forcing his sore shoulders and flank to work despite the stinging pain as healing scabs cracked and split open a bit. They didn’t gush blood, but they did drip a few drops here and there. Sandor arrived as Torin began speaking, answering whatever question Holland had asked before speaking to Siobhan. A flicker of relief would go through him, both for what the alpha said and that Siobhan was safe. The wolf mentioned going somewhere safe, but Sandor did not comment, his jaws pressed together, creating a firm line along his lips. He agreed, they needed to go somewhere safer, it was just…mildly frustrating as he was just getting used to this home. Torin issued commands out for Sio and the wolf called Eir, but nothing further. Stepping forward, ignoring the pain in his wounds as best he could (his jaws were clenched tight), Sandor moved through the wolves gathered so that he wouldn’t need to raise his voice. Once to the front he would stop, pausing long enough for the burning sensation to wane before he finally relaxed his jaws. “How can I help, Torin?” He asked, voice somewhat hinting at the throbbing pain he felt. He’d been through worse, he could handle it. "speak." |
