Altair's tail wagged slightly against the wooden boards that helped bring one to the entrance of the robust structure that was the ship. Heloise seemed rather nice, and she was happy that the male she called a father had someone that he loved; and, on top of that, she could also call this woman 'mom' if she so desired. But, she kept the warm smile plastered upon her maw as she spoke.
"It's going rather well, thank you for asking," She spoke formally to the woman as she dipped her head slightly in thanks before heading the woman's voice and question. Altair was always open for conversation or even possibly lessons, so the thought of speaking with her adopted mother made the young pup's heart race slightly, but it was good nonetheless as her tail swayed even more in excitement as she began being her chipper self.
"Father hasn't given me any lessons or assignments, so I'd be more than happy to speak with you! Don't hesitate to talk to me about anything," She spoke, trying to lighten the mood in hopes that Heloise would warm up to her a little more if she hadn't already. After all, they had only met each other slightly at the border and that was the end of their introduction. Altair was sure they had a lot to discuss if they really wanted to, so she waited patiently on the older she-wolf's words, giving her, her full attention.
