He was on the first of the few tasks they needed to complete to trade for his brothers friend. Cloud had wasted no time in scouting the territories and nearby lands for what they needed to hunt, and already he had tracked down a herd of Walrus and seals that congregated on the northern shores of their territories. He had hunted seals before, but not walrus. He figured they were the same, just bigger and with large tusks they could use as weapons. He had watched and studied them for nearly a day, noting how they used their tusks to fight each other in what looked like dominance fights as well as using their tusks to pull themselves onto the ice.
Bi-colored gaze watched a bull walrus basking in the noon day sun as it streamed through the heavy clouds. It hadn't moved from its position for quite sometime, and it wasn't too close to the water. His companion flew overhead, keeping an eye on the herd to help him determine the best target, and so far, it was that one. It was big, slow, and old looking. From his vantage point, he tilted his head back and called for any pack members that might want to help him bring it down. |
