Her reaction cemented his actions in his mind, he would find a way to free Oxide, no matter the cost. It was worth it, if just to see her laugh again, to feel her smile against his paw as she tapped out her emotion for only him to see. “Then I will have to give you plenty of reasons to laugh” he promised her, drawing her in close again, and bestowing a gentle kiss against her forehead. The road ahead likely would not be easy, but they would face it as a family, and he knew they would be just fine. “Come on, Little Whisper, let’s get out of here” he suggested. He had much to plan if he was to find something of worth to trade for Oxide, and to get this band up and running to fulfil his previous promises to the viking. |
