She had managed to make contact with his chin, pinned ears hearing the whine slip from the stranger before her jaws snapped on air. She didn't like surprises, didn't really appreciate this stranger trying to pull a dirty surprise attack. Blue eyes blazing now that she had time to recover, she charged forward towards his flailing jaws. As she drew closer, she would rise onto her hind legs, seeking to grab the smaller dogs neck by wrapping her forelegs around his shoulders. She sought to muffle him in the thick fur of her chest, though she felt teeth nip her skin, it was something she could handle. With her potential leverage, Okami dipped her head down and aimed to bite behind the males ears with the intent of getting a solid grip and getting control of his movements.
