Sirius Warlord

Zee reacted to his slightly rugged appearance, and then wiggled free of his grasp. He gave a disgruntled growl as his mate sat up and took a look at him. He would much rather have wrapped his paws about her and held her close. He was still feeling a little wild around the edges, and it didn’t help that he couldn’t take out any of his emotions when he and Deathbelle had fought. He had been nothing but defensive and careful, which explained how easily she had mauled him.

“No.” he growled, stubborn and pig headed as he got to his feet and moved to grab her with a paw in an attempt to keep her going too far. “Lady Lucretia has enough on her plate, it’s nothing but a scratch” he told her. Okay, so it was slightly more than that, but he knew how to keep it clean and he could go without pain meds. Besides, the pack likely was running on bare minimum for supplies at the moment. “I tripped.” He told her, and then flashed a grin, knowing she wouldn’t believe it for a heartbeat. Still, would she let it lie? He was clearly reluctant to speak on it.

He grabbed for her again, a growl subtle in his throat. “Zee.” he said, need in his voice, the need to know she was here and real and his. Couldn’t she see the wildness in his eyes? The desire to stand over her and growl at anyone who so much as looked sideways at her?
