Going down on my back in my own riptide
Dutch
Dutch didn't answer the other at first. concentrating on the energy she had to clean herself off, she licked her chest before looking up. her small shoulders rolled, trying to shrug it off. dour? she guessed she was feeling dour. nothing had made sense or been done right before the birth of her kids. she couldn't hope to feel good about anything unless it involved her three. she wasn't the type to share her feelings either, so she remained silent as she thought of something to say.
"I can complain" she began, her voice cracked despite the previous hydration. "but I won't" not to you she thought not to anyone. her problems were her own. Ashen had been decent enough to allow her recovery and safety, and for that she was thankful. Dutch didn't want to bitch and moan about things past, even if they weighed heavily on her mind. "and I doubt ya'd want to hear about it anyway."
everyone had their own problems. this woman seemed pissed compared to Dutch's depression. it could only mean not everything was good in the pack, and the dwarf wanted to stay away and out of drama.
