Pyrrhic ground his teeth in frustration as he gazed up at a tree he swore he had just walked by. He was certain of it, but a sniff at its base confirmed it. Yep. He had definitely been here before. Twice.

He was lost. It was about time to come to terms with that. This wasn't like the time he'd gotten lost the maze as a pup. This time he felt it. It felt real. As a pup with his head full of stories and righteous godness he had been so confident, so sure he would just waltz right out of the woods. But now? Now he was just tired. Drained. He just wanted to go home and this was yet another setback that stood between him and home. Was this a sign? Should be be looking for meaning here?
