The Ademre didn't much discuss the carnal pleasures of the body - or, at least, no one had decided to enlighten Eris. But why not? This feeling was so exquisite! She let out a small noise of surprise as he enveloped her, then closed her eyes and tumbled headfirst into their warm embrace.

She awoke to the pleasant sound of the water rushing outside. They were tangled together such that Eris couldn't tell where her limbs ended and his began. The little shadow stretched luxuriously and yawned, burying her face back in the russet fur of his neck. Eris closed her eyes and breathed in deeply, committing the smell to memory. Shielded from the outside world, it was nearly impossible to tell whether it was light or dark outside. Inside the cave they were protected from all of nature's forces: volcanic eruptions, ash, and time itself.
