What if this is it?
Anyone needing healing?
Lost, alone and scared out of her wits, Eira had made a mad dash north after leaving the crypt. She had run as fast and as far as her legs would carry her, and before she knew what happened, the young navigator landed at a place that was entirely foreign to her. Grief held her fast in its icy grip, though she had no time to express such feelings. Her mother had been wandering lost, her mind addled by an unseen enemy. Unbeknownst to them, a tumor had grown in her mother's brain, and had continued to grow until her passing. Stardust hadn't even recognized her daughter as anything more than a kind stranger who refused to leave her side, Eira had seen to it that she was peaceful and at rest before her mother passed. Still, it was hard to let the woman go, long after the last breath had been ushered from her mother's lungs.
Now, Eira was lost, driven away from her mother's resting place in the crypt by deep vibrations and the smell of acrid smoke that wafted into the caverns of the crypt. No sooner than the girl had exited, than the rocks came sliding down the mountainside and toward her. The falling stones made the girl run from her mother and the world she knew into a new world of ice and warm geysers. A whimper had escaped her as she limped toward a ridge that would allow her to look over what the rumble had actually been. An eruption had caused mass destruction, fires and smoke clouded everything it seemed. She had made it to safety, but she worried over the family she couldn't find, about what her family was doing in the wake of this disaster.
It was then that the girl noticed a stranger nearby, one who seemed to be watching as the volcano brought destruction and left grief in its wake. Perhaps, the woman would be friendly, perhaps not. Eira had no choice though, she had to know what was going on. Limping on cracked and bloody paws, the girl made her way toward the masked stranger.
