The sounds of pawsteps behind him heralded someone giving chase, and the familiar voice of his uncle Alarr had Talon leaping like a scalded cat to twist around midair. He came down facing Alarr, though momentum had him power-sliding backwards before he dropped into a playbow with a yip of excitement. He dug his claws in and braced himself for potential impact if Alarr was taken by surprise by his sudden overenthusiastic greeting. "Alarr!" he crowed, making a playful snap at Alarr's ears as he did, a laughing growl beneath it as in true Imperialis fashion he went straight from greeting into a mock battle.
