There was a comfort, small as it may be, in sharing this moment with her brother. The anxiety melting away for a moment as she felt his familiar presence and felt protected by it. Her siblings seemed so much bigger than her, not necessarily physically though obviously that was true as well. But rather stronger, braver, even Spirit who was more close to herself in regards to anxiety. But Void was there to reassure her and quietly nuzzled her cheek. She leaned into that, angling her head to push it into her brother's shoulder, closing her eyes for a moment and giving herself the luxury of a moment of peace. "Me too." Gloom whispered, unsure if she could really buy into the hope or simply wishing for it to be true. |
