She soaked in the sun for a while, until she scented Pyrrhic in the breeze. Her eyes opened and she turned her head in his direction as he hurried over to her with questions falling from his lips. She could answer him as if she were on her death bed. She could tune her words into sarcasm or a joke...but she didn't quite feel herself anymore. So she chose honesty. "I'm too weak to move, Pyrrhic. I've used the last of my strength to get me here I'm afraid..." Being a healer for so many years, she was painfully aware of things like this. She knew no amount of herbs would be able to make her better. Unless of course, there was some magical cure all plant she didn't know about, but at this point in her, she knew no such thing existed. Even their God had not blessed them enough to let them become immortal. No...at some point they would die and join him. Probably. Her faith in him had been waning, and she only wished she could have gone out fighting instead of like the sickly old lady she had become.
