Have You Ever Seen The Rain

Io noted the flick of the ear and the slight look of irritation. She wondered if there might be something wrong with it, but wouldn't ask until she was certain. If the girl continued to flick the same ear, then she'd ask.

The girl introduced herself, title and all. Titles meant nothing to Iolaire, but the child didn't know that. Hell, she was a princess herself if you wanted to get into it, which she didn't. "Good to meet you, Venom." She gave a chuckle. "No need to be so formal. It's just us ladies." Forelegs slid outward and Iolaire deposited herself upon her stomach, legs hanging over the edge of the rock that she was seated upon.

Venom questioned exactly who Iolaire was and the tri-colored dame fixed her gaze upon the girl. "The newest member of the Ashen Armada. Healer to Sirius." She continued, "And I'm here because it's not safe to return to the claimed lands yet. Volcano business." They would return eventually and Iolaire would be able to get to work. Damn, did she have a lot of work to do.
