Killian looked no worse for wear, his head held his and his form well taken care of. He didn't know how long ago his littermate left the forest of their father, but he looked good. Of course Killian had always been more capable physically than his ‘little brother.’ Eli was thin and dainty, and always seemed to be finding trouble. Killian was capable and needed much less worrying over.
Eliphas didn’t deny his brother’s affection, and helped to close the distance between them. He smiled and felt a bit of relief as Killian stood over him and greeted him easily. ”You too,” he offered back before standing back to explain the world around them. ”Volcanic eruption. The Empire is temporarily relocated.” He told him simply enough. ”We’d been told it was our cousin Hannibal, remember?” He asked, like they could forget the stories of their kin. ”His sister Deathbelle is actually in charge. I hadn’t heard her mentioned before, but she seemed to have things more under control than we were led to believe. Did you see the old Empire mom left?”
Eli had stopped there for a day or so, but there was nothing left but dust of old bones.
