Not much had changed for Iroh since Banshee had returned to her part of the world. Iroh still didn’t have his answers, was still mourning the loss of his mother, and praying that his cousin found his heart or his head. The sound of Banshee’s voice over the hills brought a welcome reprieve to his worry. The future seemed bleak for the Risen Empire, but knowing Ban hadn’t forgotten about him made his heart soar.
He shrugged off the problems of his day and his massive form quickly found his way to the wasteland. Blue and lavender eyes caught the Klein girl as soon as his massive paw set down on the brown grass. He gave an amused grin as he came to a halt in front of her. He didn’t hide his gaze as he took her recovered form in, and marveled at the way her fur reflected the light of the sun. She looked marvelous despite the hardships weighing on her.
”Banshee,” he greeted her warmly and aimed to give her cheek a shy nuzzle of affection. He’d thought about her a lot during the time they were apart. His feelings for her hadn’t changed at all, but he felt more self conscious this time around. ”Still think you can beat me?” He asked confidently as he tried to hide the nerves she caused in him.
