For Alarr

It was interesting, for the young adolescent, how the terrain had changed due to the volcano. However, the further northwest he went the less the volcano disturbed. The valley he found himself in was not covered in ash; its grass was not shriveled due to colder temperatures like many other places were. No, it was vibrant; lush green grass sprouted everywhere broken only by a creek that cut it in two. The youth felt guilt for having not returned to Lirim in so long, but how could he leave this paradise…and for what? His only friend in Lirim was gone- disappeared and with no trail to follow and find her the boy was lost and confused. He’d really liked his friend, perhaps even more than a friend and he was unsure how to handle the loss. Sandor had tried to find her- which is what had led him here to the plains. Sandor sighed; he would have to go back eventually. For now, he lay in the grass, a half eaten rabbit next to him. The youth relaxed, letting the peacefulness of the land consume him. One more day wouldn’t hurt anything…right? It wasn’t like he was missed, he was new to Lirim, knowing only a handful of wolves there- Torin was likely the only one to even realize he was gone.
