A warning cry for his companion above alerted him to the approach of another. A she-wolf, which upon her approach noticed she was layered nicely with rich chocolate browns and her eyes a beautiful shade of violet. Subconsciously, he looked her over as if trying to see if she might have any scars or...well...her form. He was a hunter, so his own form betrayed lean muscle as opposed to the heavier built types. But he also sort of felt rude staring so he glanced up to meet vibrant purple gaze as a question fell from her lips. "Yes, if you're interested. I'm afraid I'm more of a hunter than a fighter so I'm looking for a spar to keep up," Keep up with what though? He didn't have much interest in fighting...but nowadays, it was the way of the world. He had to keep his fighting skills as sharp as his hunting skills. Fighting a predator was often different than fighting another wolf, and he needed to do well to remember that. Whether or not he kept to himself (which he often did), he knew there would be times where others wouldn't be so inclined. And with his service in Hjarrandi and their...ideas...he knew he'd have to keep up on his fighting skills one way or another. |
