The ravine and the lake would not be the Empire’s final residence. Deathbelle had not forgotten about her husband, and she was eager to claim the Shrine in his name. Not because she felt devoted to the god who gave Archon his name, but because if there was one thing she could do for him in death it was to devote the shrine as he wished. Still her dainty paws carried her over the border’s of Ashen’s once territory.
The familiar scent was almost dismissed as she strode forward, but Belle would finally catch a glimpse of her sister. Eager anticipation and relief built up within her as the Empress felt herself devolve from pristine royal to young puppy once again. ”Vex!” She called out as she raced to embrace her missing sister.
It seemed like an eternity since she had laid eyes on her dark coated sibling, but the relief of knowing she was alive and returned to her. She felt a little more complete.
