Acionna didn’t know if Kyros had truly followed her here, or if any of his followers had found out where she now resides, but no one had come storming the borders and demanding that she be handed over. She took that as a good sign. He was not a patient man, and if he knew where she was, he was unlikely to wait for her to come to him. With that knowledge, she had grown at least somewhat comfortable in her new home, and with Sirius allowing her to stay in a private room within the den he shared with his wife, she had finally been able to get some much needed rest.

In the short amount of time she had spent in the armada so far, her days had been spent familiarizing herself with her new home and trying to find ways to make herself useful, all while staying far from the borders. She felt safe here so far, but she was still afraid of everything that lay beyond the borders, and everything and everyone that still remained unknown to her.

When Sirius’ call reached her, she was quick to abandon her exploration and bound off to where he waited. His call had been an invitation rather than a demand, but she had learned at a young age that any summons from a superior should be answered promptly. She slowed as she neared, stopping a short distance away. She bowed her head in greeting before looking around to see who else might show up. Those who resided in the armada were still strangers to her, and she was anxious about meeting so many new faces at once.
