Another evening and another patrol done. Valdís shifted her course eastward, paws gliding over the grass as she trotted back toward her den. Once there she planned to shed her armor and take a relaxing nap in the sun. A chorus of strange howls made her blood run cold. The tone was not what she would consider friendly. Her eyes narrowed and she barked out a call to Embla and Jynette. Loping toward the source of the call she threw back her own to call on Legion's forces to respond to the threat that had arrived at their borders. She hoped the others would follow suit swiftly as she had no desire to face this threat alone.

Embla, flying above, was the fist to spy the group. "There, Valdís, just ahead!" She nodded and picked up the pace.
