How to save a life

Meadow was out tending to the garden that she and Iolaire take abundant care of. Her paws are streaked with dirt as she sits back to admire her work; weeding is always dirty business. That is when her ears hear the call. Swiveling back to listen and the small woman identifies the summons from Sirius. The call does not have the same sound as the mandatory one that had been used to summon them for the move but that does not keep the light-colored female from packing up her tools and putting them to bed for the night.

Quickly she shakes out some of the dirt and beats a hasty path to the area she had heard the call originate from. When her paws hit the ground of the common area she slows so as not to run over anyone. She sees a wolf she is not familiar with and offers her a bright smile before dipping her head in greeting to the Warlord. Moving to a place that allows both Sirius and the other wolf a respectable amount of distance and keeps Meadow out of their personal bubbles, she then settles her rump on the ground and waits.
