Éldi collided with the woman, his shoulder striking her throat and causing her to stumble backward. Another victory was achieved in his fangs finding purchase on her right shoulder. He bit hard, feeling her warm blood flow across his tongue. His own heart was pounding in his ears, adrenaline rushing through his body as the battle continued. Éldi had no intention of letting go of the grip he'd obtained and so he widened his stance as she pushed back against him. He could feel his front legs starting to left so he let his weight shift forward. He was bigger and heavier than her and she was unable to push him over. However, in his current position there was nothing he could really do to avoid her attack and so her fangs found purchase on his scruff, fangs digging deep into his neck.

He had no idea the snake was preparing to strike but Kaler saw and the bobcat lunged forward, claws out as it attempted to swipe at the snakes head in order to both prevent its attack and swipe it off its master's back.
