Priscilla, Torin

Priscilla was overjoyed, her heart lighter now that she had not only reunited with Osiris but had spoken with him on their feelings. To know that what she felt was returned in kind… it gave her butterflies as she thought of what the future could hold. She was happy, so endlessly happy, as she made her way back across the western lands of Boreas and even made the swim to the island where her family had been staying. Everything seemed to be coming along again, thankfully, and she was endlessly grateful that, even in the face of disaster, such a beautiful feeling and relationship could be born.
They made landfall and a bit worriedly the female nosed her beloved’s shoulders. He bore a smaller body than her own, one not near as fit with muscle… but what he lacked in physical capabilities he made up for in his heart. Osiris cared so much for the safety of others, wanting to help… and the fact that he wanted to stand with her in Lirim had her feeling more sure than ever that she had made at least some good choices in her life. It wasn’t perfect, no, but Priscilla was finding her happiness and her place. Everything from here on now was a new beginning… for her, for Osiris, and for their pack.
While she waited for him to catch his breath Priscilla remained by Osiris’ side on the beach. She would not rush him, aware that he had not been in a pack, and that he could be even more nervous than he was letting on. But she wasn’t worried at all… she was confident that her uncle would welcome a set of paws willing to learn more of their chosen craft and have the desire to help. She was calm, content to let their moment on the beach linger just a moment longer as she let her dual colored eyes close as their wet fur pressed together. Priscilla felt whole and filled with a new determination to aid her pack. No matter what the future held… she would help them. She would be there for Lirim, her family, and her mate.
“It will go fine.” The young woman had no doubts as she opened her eyes and gave Osiris a gentle smile. “Things are only going to get better from here. It got a bit rocky for a moment but… everything will come back stronger. The lands, the pack… We’re all going to work together to make that happen. We’ll be better than before… this is a new start… the next adventure.” Her smile turned to more of a grin. “Get ready, Osiris. You’re going to meet my uncle. Just breathe and be yourself; you’re going to do great. A wolf willing to pull their weight in a pack is a welcome thing in times like this.” That said ‘cilla tilted her head back and called for Torin. Once they took care of Osiris’ joining inquiry they could talk about the state of the lands, Lirim’s packlands included.
With any luck at all the following season the land would be stable enough to support them even if it was a bit more work to get things back to normal.
