Oh, oh now he got it. She was having bear trouble. That was one of his favorite types of trouble, honestly. Bears pulled no punches. They hit hard, they his fast, and they had no sense of humor. Basically they were a party everywhere they went and Jupiter? Well, he never turned down a good time. It was for that reason when he saw the bear lunge after the cat he decided to join in the fray.

He followed after the bear, a swirly, bright blue missile. Natha succeeded in getting onto its back and as the bear spun to the right (in a tight circle) with snapping jaws to try to pull the cat free, Jupiter got in line with it and dove into its blind spot. He sank his teeth into its ribs just behind its left elbow, braced his legs and pulled backwards.

As soon as he felt the bear begin to turn his way Jupiter released his bite and scrambled away. In his haste he tripped over his feet and lurched toward the ground. Somehow he managed to catch himself before face-planting. Jupiter dug in his heels and kicked forward for all he was worth. He thought he could feel breath on his haunches and that was all the motivation he needed to move.
