Oh fuck, oh fuck, oh fuck- that was breath, wasn't it? On his heels? Had to be. God this was the worst idea - okay maybe not the worst one he'd ever had but still a terrible idea - and he was so going to get a bite take out of his ass. He was much too heavy for this. And suddenly the bear was gone as Natha reengaged it. Suddenly the chase was fun again. Jupiter came around in an arc to take stock of the situation. His gait was springy and wasteful, like bambi through the woods, but now that he wasn't afraid he was about to lose his rump it was all fun and games again. He laughed, the sound booming off the ice, at the sight of blood dripping from the bear's tail. The cat had spirit.
