He glanced down to the starry-eyed young girl as she took in everything before her. She looked both amazed and a little worried, if he were to venture a guess. He couldn’t be sure what she was thinking, but he had a feeling she was a little overwhelmed. Her world had just grown in size, and changed in structure dramatically.
“We do, and a good thing to - I have a deal to keep after all” he pointed out with a smile. He continued to move through the common area, the round-about direction he had taken to her den, so she could see this place.
“Come on” he said, as he moved past the storage, he could deal with the rabbits later, and the one he had gifted her she could bring with her, she needed some more meat on her bones.
He took her away from the common area, and towards his den, which sat before a quiet, shallow stream that licked the land a few meters from its entrance. He pushed aside the coat that hang as a door at the entrance, and showed her the large open area that housed a small cellar, and other emergency supplies. Moving past that led them towards different rooms that branched off in this direction or that. He moved towards these small dens, the entrances of the unoccupied ones stood barren, with no door to bar them. He could change that easily enough, the set up for the coats was already in place. “Feel free to pick your den from one of these” he offered, indicating the empty ones. The dens of himself, the nursery, Bird, and Accaria already had doors to block them off.
