Plague
Plague felt his chest collide with his mentor's own with a big pang of pain. Bruising would be the least of his worries in the day to come. He did not expect her to take the blow like a brick wall. The boy sucked in controlled breaths and tried to limit the panic surging through his mind. As his bite landed and the metallic taste landed upon his pink tongue he seemed to regain control of his thoughts. Plague ensured his defenses remained locked and loaded which was an added plus when Hela went in for her low assault. As Hela lowered herself before lurching forward to press upward between his two front legs. The impact caused his sternum and chest region to throb with pain as well as his grip being torn away from her scruff. Blood dripped from his moistened jaws as a snort came forth from his nose. In result of her attack his front two legs were lifted off the ground. In those moments he dug his hefty hind paws into the earth in a scrambling attempt to maintain balance. Rather then toppling over he hoped to keep his weight forward by stepping forward with his hind leg and attempting to slam his two front paws down on Hela's upper back.
